INTRODUCING

A project demanded the design development of a special purpose concrete distributor that the company was not manufacturing then. The concrete distributor was to be easily transportable and compact. The purpose was to evenly distribute the concrete over the floor with two variants based on the reach and another variant to distribute the concrete over walls and vertical column.

TASK PLANNING

Truly Top-Notch

In this stage the basic market demands, attractiveness, customer-specific technical performance requirements. At this stage a detailed market analysis is performed and final technical specification requirements is created.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

Principle Solution

During conceptual design, multiple rough concept designs are ideated to communicate the approach. Function sub-function structure for the problem is established. Working principles for sub-functions are identified then combined to form working structures. Suitable combination is selected.

EMBODIMENT DESIGN

Intelligent

This is most time consuming phase. CAD models to finalize the embodiment. Develop primary layout and form designs for the main function carriers. Design for auxiliary function carriers are made. Overall layout is compared and the design is optimized.

DETAILED DESIGN

Only the Best

Finalize the CAD. Complete the detailed engineering drawing for manufacturing. Prepare for the design release - complete CAD and engineering drawings. Complete the documents for production, assembly, transport and operation instructions. Release the documents after QA check for standard, completeness and correctness.

CALCULATIONS

Geometric and analytical calculations are used to determine the first dimensions of different structures eg. leg dimension, length of the booms, diameter of the circular center stem.

RVM: Text

GEOMETRIC CALCULATION

Initial embodiment design calculation

In this stage, dimensions of boom, height of the distributor, angles of rotation, lateral and vertical movement and the joint rotations are selected.

KINEMATIC ANALYSIS

May 5, 2025

Through the moment of inertia, bending moments, forces and torques the dimension of the supporting structures are calculated.

BEAN CALCULATION

May 5, 2025

The dimensions and the thickness of the beams are calculated using mathematical and accurate methods for final iteration.

CENTRAL STRUCTURE CALCULATION

May 5, 2025

Other structural features of the distributors are computed.
